Designed by Franklin Law Articling Student, Runako Gregg, the Wrongful Dismissal Workshop is an interactive course which will provide an overview of what a dismissal is in an employer/employee relationship, address rights that generally arise for an employee following a decision by an employer to terminate their employment, and discuss what might constitute a wrongful dismissal in Ontario.  This Course is essential for anyone working in Ontario.   It’s that simple.  If you or someone you know is working in Ontario or is contemplating joining the workforce, this course is for you.   The Course will focus on: (1) Minimum protections workers are entitled to under the Employment Standards Act, 2000 when they are dismissed (2) Protections and entitlements when a worker is dismisssed under the common waw; and (3) Practical tips on enforcing your rights in Ontario if you are wrongfully dismissed.
