Designed by Franklin Law Articling Student, Digal Haio, the Human Rights Workshop is an interactive course which will explore human rights concepts, identify human rights issues that typically arise in the workplace and provide information on basic rights and obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code. This Course is essential for anyone working in Ontario. It’s that simple. If you or someone you know is working or looking for work in the province of Ontario, this course is for you. The Course will focus on: (1) unpacking legal terms such as discrimination, harassment, accommodation and reprisal; (2) discussing how your human rights play out in the workplace; and (3) reviewing the process used to file a human rights complaint at the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
