OHRC puts Creed and Religious Observances in the spotlight

The Ontario Human Rights Commission (“OHRC”) invited Ron Franklin to its workshop on Creed and the Accommodation of Religious Observances:  Ron participated in a day long legal workshop on rights relating to religious belief and practice.  The event was hosted by the Ontario Human Rights Commission in partnership with York University’s Centre for Law and Public Policy.  The primary purpose of the workshop was to generate expert legal and academic research and dialogue to help inform the OHRC’s update of its (1996) Policy on creed and the accommodation of religious observances.  For more information, please click here:  http://www.ohrc.on.ca/en/human-rights-and-creed
